Skin Tightening

Sagging skin and wrinkles on your face are some of the most obvious signs of age. Your Medicos, S.C.’s Skin Tightening treatment uses clinically-tested infrared and radio frequency (RF) energies to stimulate healthy collagen remodeling inside your skin, to tighten sagging skin and naturally fill in wrinkles at the jaw line, around your eyes, at your brow line and around your mouth and cheeks. Unlike treatments that paralyze or mechanically tighten your skin, our Skin Tightening stimulates natural, healthy processes inside your skin that make it look and act younger and firmer, the way it used to be.

Ultrasound Cavitation

Ultrasound Cavitation, also called Ultrasonic Cavitation or Ultracavitation, is a new and exciting non-invasive beauty device that physicians and therapists are using to remove unwanted cellulite and adipose tissue. Considered liposuction alternatives, these procedures are being compared to liposuction but without any surgical procedures.

This new and innovated technology uses ultrasounds to implode fat cells into tiny microscopic fluids so the body can eliminate them naturally by disposing of them through the urinary tract and lymphatic system.

Ultracavitation is a very effective procedure that requires only six to ten treatments consisting of 20 to 30 minutes each. After the initial treatments are completed, maintenance treatments consist of one session each month for 4 months followed by one treatment every 4 months. It is completely safe and painless with results seen in just a few weeks after treatment.

Astro-Slim

Astro-Slim is very widely used in cosmetology and medicine. In opinion of Dr. Jilani of Your Medicos, the periodic impact of the compressed air on the separate body parts through a special pressure costume, works wonders. This massage is very soft and does not injure the tissue. Originally Astro-Slim was designed to treat varicose veins, and as rehabilitation treatment after liposuction and various injuries. Cosmetic properties of Astro-Slim were discovered later. Cosmetologist tried using the unusual massage to tighten loose skin areas. The results exceeded all expectations. It turned out that the profound impact on the lymphatic vessels promoted the tissue metabolism, making the skin more elastic and healthy looking. The vasodilating effect of the treatment was estimated at its true worth – and Astro-Slim got to be used as an anti-cellulite treatment. Dr. Jilani recommends to do Astro-Slim right after the UltraCavitation procedure.

Laser Scar Revision

Advanced laser technology allows for excellent means of reducing appearance of scars that are the result of accidents or previous surgery. There are several options when using lasers to improve the appearance of scars. Some scars are thick and raised, often referred to as “keloids”, others are wide and red, and some can be flat and lighter in appearance than the surrounding skin. We will need to evaluate the scar to determine if surgical scar revision or laser surgery is the best course of action.

Microdermabrasion

Also referred to as mechanical exfoliation or micro-resurfacing, microdermabrasion is a method for facial rejuvenation that uses a mechanical medium for exfoliation along with adjustable suction to remove away the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis. It is a non-invasive procedure, which is performed in-office by a trained skin care professional.

Laser Peels

Laser skin resurfacing, also known as a laser peel, is the removal of the top layers of the skin via focused laser light energy. Some types of lasers also penetrate into deeper layers of skin to provide additional benefits. The main goals of laser skin resurfacing are to make the skin smoother, tighter, and more even in tone, texture, and color.
